Virgin America guests may check one bag free of charge that can weigh up to 70 pounds. All checked bags may have a maximum size of is 62 inches, which is calculated by adding the length plus the width plus the height.
Additional bags: Bag two - $25 weighing up to 50 lbs.
One golf bag will be carried free as checked baggage in lieu of the first bag (62 inches in overall dimensions). Items must be suitably packed in a hard-sided container or in packaging designed to withstand ordinary handling. Golf bag in a hard-sided golf travel bag provided by the guest, including clubs, balls, and shoes. We do not recommend soft-sided golf bags, and cannot accept liability for soft-sided travel bags or their contents. Golf bags without a traveling case are not accepted.
